More than 100,000 people reported being trafficked or living in modern slavery in U.S. in 2023, according the U.S. State Department.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in Burbank on July 26, 2025, for the Red Sand Project. Together, we raised awareness and honored those who have fallen through the cracks by filling sidewalk cracks with red sand. Your participation made a significant impact in our community, and we are grateful for your support.
Check out the highlights from the event and see how we came together to spread awareness using #RedSandProjectBurbank.
This program was supported in part by a Community Events and Program Grant from the City of Burbank.
